Do you have a destination?
About This Work
In a fast-paced world, a lot wonder if they are on track with the milestones they are hitting in life or path they would like to go on. This painting was inspired after listening to the Mac Miller song "Do You Have a Destination?" Personally, I sometimes feel as if I am walking along a path with a vague goal but no guarantee of what it will look like. The clock in the corner represents the pressure placed on individuals by society, which often causes us to lose focus on what our destination may pr may not be. Part of not having a clear destination at the end of the path is also to reinforce the idea that it is okay not to know, and it will eventually reach a destination as you learn, discover, and move along.
