Growth Mindset

I consider myself a life-long learner and highly value empathy, compassion, and knowledge of experiences outside my own. This has naturally led to being an advocate of the growth mindset. This painting represents that upon learning a new piece of information, there is a seed planted. From here, we need to help the seed grow through further dialogue, research, listening, and reflection on our beliefs, values, and biases. Expanding the mind takes an infinite amount of time and the journey is not flawless, as we are all human. A growth mindset values mistakes and learning from them, viewing them in a way where you do not have to look down on yourself, rather accept the mistake and continue growing.
