Be Kind

Using recycled fabric and modeling paste, this painting comes from a moment where I was trying to create a visual of my desires rather than the whirlwind of emotion and thoughts I was experiencing. In situations where it is evident that my brain is wired differently and influencing my communication and interpretations of written and verbal words, I have the desire for people to focus on compassion, understanding, and empathy. We, myself included, are often focused on processing based on the individual wiring of the brain. My hope is that others are willing to, well, be kind and step out of the "norms" we are raised with.
